Dick and Dom (originally Richard and Dominic) are a British comedy double act consisting of the presenters Richard "Dick" McCourt and Dominic "Dom" Wood. They are primarily known for presenting 'the broom cupboard' presentation links on Children's BBC in the 1990s and early 2000s, before moving onto the double BAFTA Award winning Dick and Dom in da Bungalow, a children's entertainment show that was live during weekend mornings on BBC One, CBBC and later BBC Two. The show ran for five series between 2002 and 2006.
From October 2007 to September 2008, they presented The Sunday Morning Show on BBC Radio 1 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Also between 2007 and 2008, they presented Are You Smarter than a 10 Year Old? for two series on Sky 1.
They also starred in other big hits on CBBC, in 2009 the BAFTA Award nominated, The Legend of Dick and Dom and Da Dick and Dom Dairies (the best of Da Bungalow). Diddy Dick and Dom, originally a pre-recorded section during Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, saw them playing themselves as miniaturised puppets. From 2011 – 2018 they had two spin off series called Diddy Movies, with 2 series and Diddy TV with 4 series. In 2019 it was announced that Diddy Dick and Dom will have their own Podcast for BBC Sounds called Diddy Pod.
In 2011, they presented Dick & Dom Go Wild, a nature series. They also began hosting the UK version of Splatalot! on CBBC and made their first film appearances in 'Horrid Henry: The Movie', as hosts for the fictional game show 2Cool4School. They also both provided the voices of B1 and B2 in the ABC revived series, Bananas in Pyjamas.
In September 2012, Dick and Dom's Hoopla started on the CBBC Channel, a comedy show in which they hosted their own travelling funfair with games, acts, performers and celebrity appearances. The show had a positive reaction, but was decommissioned after one series.
In 2013 they released a series of successful children's books, Dick & Dom's slightly naughty but very silly words, Dick & Dom's Big Fat and very silly joke book, Dick & Dom's Whoopee book of pranks, Dick & Dom's Christmas Jokes Nuts and Stuffing and Dick v Dom Joke Battle.
In January 2013, the first episode of Dick and Dom's newest series titled Absolute Genius with Dick and Dom was shown. An educational programme that showed geniuses' work throughout the ages and how it has affected the modern world. Each show was dedicated to one genius (starting with Archimedes) and the duo also attempted to recreate their works. A special series titled APPsolute Genius, which focused on video games, aired in 2015. In 2016 Absolute Genius with Dick and Dom was renewed for a fifth series with filming starting in June 2016. Absolute Genius 'Monster Builds' was the fifth and final series.
In November 2014, Dick and Dom won the 2014 Children's Presenter BAFTA for Absolute Genius with Dick and Dom Series 2 of Diddy Movies also won the 2014 Children's Comedy award.
From December 2013 to January 2014, Dick and Dom played the roles of King Arthur and Patsy in the West End revival of Spamalot to rave reviews. In 2015 they starred in the World's Biggest Panto alongside Paul O'Grady and Bradley Walsh at the Arena Birmingham
In 2016, the pair voiced the roles of Unhygienix and Fulliautomatix, the constantly-bickering fishmonger and blacksmith of the indomitable Gaulish village, in the British release of the 2014 CGI animated film Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods,
2019 saw Dick and Dom move into broadcasting for the Millennial generation launching their own podcast, Cash from Chaos. The live gameshow was recorded at a comedy club and pitted the audience against them to try to win their show fee. The first six episodes aired in May and June 2019. 2020 sees the release of their new podcast, The Dick and Dom Debate, like Question Time or Talk Radio for the Dick and Dom generation. They debate the unimportant things in life like fry ups.

Theatre/Festival/DJ gigs
Since 2005 they have been doing DJ sets at Students' unions in Universities all over the UK.
Dick vs Dom (also known as Dick and Dom LIVE) is a live 60-minute gameshow which involves the whole audience. The stage show originated at Butlins where they headlined with Dick vs Dom in 2014 and 2016. The show has also toured UK theatres and Family Festivals.
In 2016 it was announced via Dick and Dom's official Twitter account that Dick vs Dom will go on its first full UK tour in 2017 The tour began on 10 April 2017 and ended on 29 October 2017, running for 22 shows.
On 19 September 2017, it was confirmed that 'Dick & Dom's Circus Showdown' a new show to Butlins would launch in May and October half terms 2018.
They have appeared at many festivals including Camp Bestival, The Big Festival, CarFest, The Great Wonderfest, Jimmy's Festival, Chalfest, Wychwood, Standon Calling, Hay Festival and BST in Hyde Park. At festivals they either perform Dick vs Dom, host the main stage or DJ either in the Silent Disco or on the main stage with their new spin off show Dick vs Dom DJ Battle.
In 2018 they took Dick vs Dom to the Edinburgh Festival as part of Underbelly and received five-star reviews.
In May 2019 they performed Dick vs Dom at the Eden Project in Cornwall and onboard P&O Cruises.
They have also launched their new festival show Dick vs Dom DJ Battle.
