History
Devine, Texas, is named for Hon. Thomas J. Devine, a native of San Antonio.
Geography
Devine is located at 29°8′38″N 98°54′22″W / 29.14389°N 98.90611°W (29.143908, –98.906174). This is 25 miles southwest of Downtown San Antonio. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2), all of it land.
