Chomo Lonzo facts for kids
Chomo Lonzo is a 7,804 metres (25,604 ft) mountain in the Himalayas range, in Tibet. It has three different summits. These are the main (or South) peak (7,804 metres (25,604 ft)), central peak (7,565 metres (24,820 ft)), and North peak (7,200 metres (23,600 ft)). It is the 24th highest mountain in the world. The first people to reach the top of the main peak were Jean Couzy and Lionel Terray, in 1954.
