Chicken turtle facts for kids
The chicken turtle (Deirochelys reticularia) is a freshwater turtle found in the southeastern United States. It has a long neck and a brownish shell with yellow lines on it. Their shells are 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 inches) in length.
