Bridgeport, Chicago facts for kids
Bridgeport, one of 77 community areas of Chicago, Illinois, is a neighborhood on the city's South Side, bounded on the north by the South Branch of the Chicago River. It is a working-class neighborhood on Chicago's south side. Five mayors of Chicago were born here. The neighborhood is known for being Irish.
