Berthold Leibinger (26 November 1930 – 16 October 2018) was a German engineer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He was the head of the German company Trumpf, a leader in laser technology. He was founder of the non-profit foundation Berthold Leibinger Stiftung. He was on the advisory board of major companies and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Stuttgart.
Leibinger died of complications from Alzheimer's disease on 16 October 2018 in Stuttgart, aged 87.
