Bay City is a city in Tillamook County, Oregon, United States. The population was 1,286 at the 2010 census.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.62 square miles (4.20 km2), of which 1.26 square miles (3.26 km2) is land and 0.36 square miles (0.93 km2) is water.
Climate

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,286 people, 546 households, and 352 families living in the city. The population density was 1,020.6 inhabitants per square mile (394.1/km2). There were 650 housing units at an average density of 515.9 per square mile (199.2/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 92.7% White, 0.8% Native American, 0.9% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 3.3% from other races, and 2.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.7% of the population.
There were 546 households, of which 24.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.5% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 35.5% were non-families. 24.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 2.80.
The median age in the city was 46.5 years. 19.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.1% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 22.4% were from 25 to 44; 30.3% were from 45 to 64; and 21.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.9% male and 49.1% female.

Notable people
