Asaphodes beata (also known as the dotted green carpet moth) is a species of moth in the family Geometridae. It is endemic to New Zealand.
Taxonomy
This species was first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1877 as Cidaria beata using a specimen from the collection of J. D. Enys.
This relatively common species can be found in forest throughout the country.
