Arab Israelis facts for kids
Arab Israelis are Arabs who live in the State of Israel. They call themselves Palestinian Israelis. About 21% of the Israeli people are Arab Israelis.
As of 2015, there were about 2.1 million Arab Israelis, about 0.3 million of them were living in East Jerusalem and also a small number on the Golan Heights.
Most Arab Israelis are Muslims (84%), a small minority is Christian or Druze (both about 8%).
