The wingspan is 12–14 mm. The forewings pale brownish-ochreous, irrorated with white on the veins, and with scattered dark fuscous scales. The base of the costa is suffused with dark fuscous and there are some blackish scales on the submedian fold before the first line. This line is whitish, posteriorly margined with dark fuscous. The second line is also whitish and anteriorly dark-margined. The hindwings are grey-whitish with a grey lunule, postmedian line and hindmargin. Adults have been recorded on wing in March.
