2020 Turkish Grand Prix facts for kids
The 2020 Turkish Grand Prix (officially known as the Formula 1 DHL Turkish Grand Prix 2020) was a motor race for Formula One cars which took place on 15 November 2020 at Istanbul Park in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey. The race was the 14th round of the 2020 Formula One World Championship and the eighth running of the Turkish Grand Prix since the event was first held in 2005.
The race was won by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton ahead of Sergio Pérez in a Racing Point-Mercedes and the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel. With this win Hamilton claimed his seventh World Championship title, equalling the record set by Michael Schumacher. Hamilton's title also marked the seventh consecutive time a Mercedes driver had won the World Drivers' Championship.
