The 2020 North Indian Ocean cyclone season is an ongoing event in the annual cycle of tropical cyclone formation. The North Indian Ocean cyclone season has no real bounds, but cyclones usually form between April and November, with the highest amount of storms in May and October.
There has been one tropical cyclone so far in the season, Cyclone Amphan. It was a the strongest cyclone since 2007.
