Éponine facts for kids
Éponine Thénardier is a character in the novel Les Misérables (1862) by Victor Hugo. She is also referred to as the "Jondrette girl".
The character is introduced as a spoiled and pampered child. Later in the book, she appears as a ragged teenager who has become very mature for her age. She speaks in the style of language of the streets of Paris. She has kept her former charm and innocence.
